Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: holding purposeful competitions is one of the most important strategies to attract the attention of high school and university students toward the area of aerospace.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, stated about the methods to increase the tendency of students toward exploring the area of aerospace: we believe that one of the most important strategies to increase the willingness of students and even university attendees toward exploring the aerospace science and to contribute to the advancement in this field is holding purposeful competitions with applicable and determined missions.

He added: therefore, the headquarter has planned for evaluation of similar activities outside the country related to holding competitions with the lowest executive costs and based on the predefined educational content.

According to Manteghi, educated human resource in any country is regarded as the main asset for its industry. Therefore, provision of a foundation for application of their talents has a significant effect on entrepreneurship and innovation in the industry.

He also asserted: the aim of holding this competition is motivation of the scientific society of engineering students and training of their skills in line with our technological priorities.
