According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in the briefing session for pioneering student biotechnology centers, Rahim Sarvari, deputy and manager of the human resource, education and promotion group of the biotechnology development headquarter, introduced the structure, goals, groups and subgroups of the biotechnology development headquarter and pointed out the significant importance of the large market of biotechnology in the world and Iran.

He added: in the short duration of implementation of this project, we have received favorable results. In addition, synergy between biotechnology development headquarter, general education office of Mazandaran, municipality, charity organizations and other science and education centers has led to promising results.

Sarvari also expressed: the future of advanced and developing countries is interrelated to biotechnology, and we have no other choice but to take sustainable development of this field in schools seriously as an interdisciplinary field.

Nazarian, representative of the secondary education office of the ministry of education, pointed out the importance of attention to new sciences in the society and introduced the research center of district 10 of Tehran as the pole of biotechnology of the country for communication with the representatives of six selected provinces.

Following that, the project was completely presented to the audience and the cooperation method of provinces in implementation of this project were explained. Moreover, representatives of provinces evaluated the details of the project by question and answer and discussion.

This meeting was held in the presence of the deputy and manager of human resource, education and promotion group of the biotechnology development headquarter, deputy of the general office of education in Mazandaran province, representative of the secondary education office of the ministry of education, head of north research center and manager of the selected research center and president of educational technology of six provinces and authorities of education of Amol.
