Facilitation of Commercialization of Nano Inventions by the Agreement between Iran and China
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in a meeting held at nanotechnology development headquarter in the presence of Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter, Mahdi Zeyghami, manager of patent association of Iran, and Raphael Chen, international deputy of WTOIP, a memorandum of understanding was signed in line with international cooperation between the two countries and finding investment opportunities.
In this meeting, Sarkar expressed his content with the agreement, stating: WTOIP company of China is one of the largest institutes in the area of patent registration, sell of its intellectual property and finding investments for the project, taking huge steps in line with the commercialization of nanotechnology by holding international competitions. During the competitions, five projects are introduced for final race and attracting investment. Fortunately, Iranian ideas and projects were participated in the event of this year and are being evaluated for the final competition.
Raphael Chen, deputy of international affairs of WTOIP institute, who traveled to Iran due to the invitation to visit the 10th nanotechnology exhibition, expressed his gratitude after visiting various parts of the event and learning about the achievements of Iran in nanotechnology area, expressing: by signing this contract, WTOIP institute select the patent association and nanotechnology development headquarter of Iran as one of the largest business partners in the area of commercialization. Similar to previous years, Iran participated in this competition as one of the leaders of nanotechnology in the world. We hope that we are able to introduce the abilities of Iran to the network of three million members of WTOIP. The aim of this competition is not just for competition between the participants; rather, the major goal of this event is attracting investors and commercialize the product in China.
In addition, manager of patent association of Iran affirmed: presence of Iran in innovative projects in line with commercialization and wealth creation is a big step. Moreover, an exhibition-like environment is provided in this event by WTOIP company to showcase the abilities of Iranian projects.
Zeyghami also added: along with the competition, a meeting will be held in Shenzhen in southeastern China in the presence of 10 thousand innovators, technologists and investors from all over the world. This will be a proper opportunity for international communications and commercialization of ideas of our technologists. This competition will be held in four days in December 2017 in Shenzhen and will be participated with competitors from several countries, including England, America, Russia, South Korea, and Germany.
As the representative of STOIP company in Iran, the patent association of Iran has introduced about 30 top projects, among which only five projects will be participated in the final competition.
