The workgroup of standard development of national space administration of Iran has determined the obtaining of national and international standards as one of its responsibilities with the help of knowledge-based companies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the workgroup of standard development of national space administration of Iran has been established to manage and facilitate the informing of the public about this field and attract the cooperation of private companies in the area of aerial industry. To this end, it has determined some of its responsibilities, including encouraging of the private sector and creating motivation in obtaining related standards and informing, defining and planning for necessary educations.

In addition, policy-making for creation of strategies to share resources and reduce costs and introduce and specialized counseling about standards for companies are other defined duties of the workgroup.
