Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: joint projects are prepared with other countries in development of piston helicopters in the workgroup of commercial helicopters.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, secretary of Iran national space administration, pointed out the future programs in the area of commercial helicopters, expressing: joint cooperation projects are prepared with other countries in the area of development of piston, medium and semi-heavy helicopters inside the country.

He added: given the fact that the development of commercial helicopter is essential in the country, the programs of this workgroup will be seriously followed up.

According to Manteghi, another goal of this workgroup is determining support priorities of companies, industries and domestic research centers in the helicopter area.
