According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ali Vatani, deputy of technology development, mentioned on the opening ceremony of knowledge-based technology development center of top creativity and academy of young aerial club that the aerial knowledge-based industries and technology development headquarter has been established in the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs according to the comprehensive science plan of the country, stating: some of the capacities of this headquarter are transportation, control of critical situations (e.g., fire), traffic and road relief, helping injured individuals, tourism and general aviation.

According to Vatani, the aerial region requires synergy, in a way that researchers can eliminate the needs of this area. In this regard, establishment of this growth center can promote the realization of this goal.

Deputy of technology development considered attention to research by students as an essential factors, expressing: the knowledge-based growth center of aerial industry has been established to motivate research by students and recognize the top talents of the area.

Signature of the President on the Statute of Student Research Centers

Ali Zarafshan, deputy of secondary education of ministry of education, also pointed out in this ceremony: the approach of the ministry of education is based on research and explorations. Over the fourth years of the 11^th government, 340 research centers have been established. This is very fast since only 300 research centers were established during 11 years.

He continued: the statute of student research centers was signed by the president of Iran, according to which research center will be active as technology parks.

According to Zarafshan, student research centers will be managed by the board of trustees, and all supporters of scientific activities in the region and province will cooperate with the management of the research centers.

He also affirmed: these research centers are active in various areas, such as biotechnology, stem cells, laser, plasma, and aerospace.

Emergence of Innovation Revolution in the Country by the Development of Research Activities of Students

During the ceremony, Fatemeh Hosseini, representative of citizens of Tehran in the parliament, stated that one of the most important problems of Iran is unemployment. In this regard, she asserted: unfortunately, today we can see that many educated youth of the country are jobless. Therefore, we need to provide the proper foundations for creation of stable jobs for these individuals.

According to Hosseini, given the necessity of formation of knowledge-based economy in Iran, the economy commission of the parliament has aimed to pass a law to support knowledge-based companies, so that problems for entering the companies into the market and commercialization of their products can be eliminated.

She also pointed out the meeting of parliament members with the mayor of Tehran, affirming: one of the goals of the mayor of Tehran is turning this city into the capital of science and technology, since Tehran has the best foundations (10 top universities of Iran, experts and best creative individuals) in this regard.
