Development of automotive industry will be realized with the help of knowledge-based companies

The president of Iran national science fund pointed out that the development of automotive industry will be realized by the efforts of knowledge-based companies, stating: we must use knowledge-based companies to pave the way for producing electrical cars.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ali Vahdat, the president of Iran national science fund, presented a lecture during the technological gathering of industries, knowledge-based companies and startups in the automotive industry.

The president of Iran national science fund pointed out the capability of Iranian youth in the automotive industry, expressing: a serious ecosystem of knowledge-based companies has been formed in Iran. The ecosystem will help transform the country’s industries.

Ali Vahdat affirmed that an industry that is not based on the ecosystem of innovation and technology will yield poor-quality products. Therefore, the products of this industry are not accepted by the community. In this regard, he continued: the large market of 80 million people owns a limited set in the automotive industry, which has failed to satisfy the public and deliver high quality products to the community.

The president of Iran national science fund added: we must use knowledge-based and innovative companies to pave the way for producing electrical cars. This can make the research cost of automotive companies and industries tangible.  

Vahdat pointed out the conclusion of contracts in the three-day gathering, claiming: given the presence of knowledge-based companies and large industries and companies on the gathering, cooperation agreements will be signed between different firms. In this respect, Iran national science fund will attempt to accept the financial risk of contracts as a third mediator.

Vahdat also marked: 784 people have registered for attending the exhibition and seven meetings will be held. To date, 77 billion tomans of requests for facilities have been sent to the fund, 71 billion of which has been realized.

The exhibition will be held for three days at Iran national science fund by presenting the technological achievements of 82 knowledge-based companies, 13 major automakers and 13 industries.

During the first day of the gathering, an agreement was signed between Tejarat Electronic Arsh Gostar and Iran Electronic Components Industries with a value of 49 billion tomans regarding the supply of airbag unit in automotive in the presence of Sorena Sattari and Ali Vahdat.
