According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the workgroup of commercial helicopter of aerial knowledge-based technology development headquarter has prioritized various subjects with regard to the development of roadmap for advancement of technologies of medium, semi-heavy and piston helicopters. Some of these priorities are “design of a plan to achieve the macro helicopter goals in the comprehensive document of aerospace of Iran” and “sending an announcement to the customs to prevent the import of products in the area of commercial helicopters, aiming to support technologies and industrial power of Iran and technology transfer”.

In addition, “provision of PFPs required in line with the progression of helicopter goals of comprehensive plan of aerospace development, “determining supportive priorities in the helicopter section for domestic companies, industries and research centers” and “provision of joint cooperation projects with other countries to develop medium, semi-heavy and piston helicopters” are some of the other plans followed up by the workgroup in the current year.

Other priorities of the workgroup are “direct negotiation with commercial helicopter operators and attracting their trust to integrally eliminate needs based on joint platforms”, “planning for adding courses of helicopter designing to higher education orientation of aerospace” and “establishment and strengthening of the workgroup of commercial helicopter as a reference for activists of this area (news, research, industrial and technological priorities and reports of macro helicopter projects)”.
