Success in all activities related to marine industry development depends on the expansion of research activities. In fact, education is one of the important topics that guarantees the sustainable advancement in any country. Lack of research results in lack of improvement of human knowledge and is responsible for its stagnation.

Various factors are involved in research and technology, which can be divided into three sections of software, hardware and human resource. Software factors are all physical facilities and fundamental infrastructures, which provide the foundation for research in all areas for researchers. For instance, presence of research tools, such as advanced laboratory equipment and network and computer facilities, are some of the hardware resources.

On the other hand, software facilities are the current of knowledge and information among researchers, realized through other journals and science resources available in print or electronically. Finally, the third section is human resources and researchers who can use the software and hardware facilities to implement various research projects.
