In a joint meeting between the national science foundation and Eco science fund, development of cooperation in various science and technology areas was concluded.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the joint meeting of the national science foundation with Eco science fund was held to development the mutual collaborations.

In the beginning of the meeting, Nosratollah Zargham, president of Iranian national science foundation, briefly explained about the activities of the fund and mentioned the recommendations for development of joint cooperation between the foundation and Eco science fund, stating: the foundation is prepared to hold joint research workshops and research projects among Eco members, and idea-making, creativity and invention events.

He continued: the innovation student festival is one of the important projects for the foundation, and is suggested as another field of cooperation with Eco science fund.

During the meeting, head of the Eco science fund also introduced their activities and current challenges of this field and appreciated the suggestions presented by the foundation.

He also mentioned the holding of Caspian Sea conference in Azerbaijan, expressing: this event can be regarded as a beneficial model for cooperation between the science foundations of members of Eco.

He continued: soon, a joint student festival will be held in China, which will help the foundation hold the desired festival.

It is noteworthy that in this meeting, it was decided to sign a joint cooperation agreement after designing the agreement. This meeting was attended by Nosratollah Zargham, president of Iranian national science foundation, and professor Hussain Soomro, the president of Eco science fund.
