Presenting a suitable model for development of solar and wind energy technologies is one of the measures decided by the energy technologies development headquarter to be taken with regard to the domestic abilities in these areas.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, with regard to government encouragement policies in the field of renewable energies, such as increase of electricity cost, the renewable energies have been more focused by investors. In this regard, the solar and wind areas have attracted the most attention. With regard to this issue, importance of attention to the development of domestic abilities in these areas has increased, in a way that lack of attention to this issue can turn the country into a proper market for foreign products. Therefore, obtaining intelligent policies can lead to the use of domestic market for development of domestic abilities.

According to this report, the energy technologies development headquarter will follow the article 61 of the consumption pattern modification act with regard to its goals and missions in various sections, such as providing renewable equipment technology and localization incentives. Moreover, the headquarter has aimed to provide a suitable model for development of solar and wind sections along with these goals and activities.

Given the high potential of Iran in areas of solar and wind, their development as well as empowering the domestic experts can create occupations and be regarded as a step toward the diversity of the energy basket of the country and preservation of the environment.
