Chairman of Iran national space administration announced the domestication of design and manufacturing of remote-sensing and telecommunication satellites in the near future.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, stated about the future of design of remote-sensing and telecommunication satellites in the country: we are working to achieve technologies for design and manufacturing of operative remote-sensing and telecommunication satellites, and we strive to quickly domesticize these projects with serious international cooperation.

He continued: we have been able to obtain the necessary technologies and infrastructures for design and manufacturing of experimental satellites, exploratory rockets, launch to low altitude or space exploration sciences.

According to Manteghi, Iran must pay more attention to the aerial sciences due to being a newly emerged country in this field. In addition, satellite services and group equipment must be followed up in a parallel manner using the capacities of knowledge-based companies.
