According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Nosratollah Zargham, president of Iranian National science foundation, expressed about the plans of the center for improving the idea making of students: helping the emergence of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in students is one of the goals followed up by the headquarter, for which plans have been designed.

He pointed out that this act can lead to improved ability of students to enter the society and use their intellectual property, stating: the future of the country is in the hand of students, and any task that could guarantee a bright future for the country must be carried out. However, the headquarter has regarded some plans for kindergartens, mainly to recognize and flourish the talents of children in kindergartens.

Head of the national science foundation also talked about the scientific development of the country and increase of support of researchers (for 10 years), expressing: one of the measures taken by the foundation to support research projects, which eventually leads to the scientific development of the country, is assigning research seats to researchers, duration of which has been extended to 10 years. The first five years involve domestic work, whereas the second five years involve at least one international cooperation.  

In terms of support of PhD dissertations, Zargham affirmed: the third call for support of doctoral dissertations, which was announced last year and is extended to May, has been significantly welcomed by researchers. It is predicted that a significant increase be observed in the received theses until the end of the year, compared to the previous years.
