Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: our goal is to create an opportunity for venture capitals as a new method of financing.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, stated that venture capitals are an inseparable part of commercialization circle, affirming: aerial knowledge-based companies are more at risk, compared to the other knowledge-based companies and traditional companies, especially in the formation stage. Therefore, it is very important to finance the required financial resources by accepting the risks ahead.

According to Manteghi, most of the times it is not possible for the company to accept these risks, which highlights the importance of venture capitals, which accurately manage the risks in knowledge-based companies.

He believes that the issue of venture capitals is an inseparable part of commercialization chain and must receive more attention.

Chairman of Iran national space administration also affirmed: we have aimed to accelerate the pace of formation of venture capitals as a new financing method through receiving shares and management assistance of young, small and growing companies which have a bright future.
