According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Seyed Mohammad Sahebkar Khorasani expressed: fortunately, the majority of executive organizations of the country have gathered their power to support knowledge-based companies. In this regard, we must honor the efforts put in this field by the secretary of higher council of free trade zones-industrial and special economic zones.

Sahebkar continued: the esteemed council of ministers approved the tariffs on cost of services of organizations of the special economic zone by the recommendation of the secretary of the higher council of free trade zones-industrial and special economic zones, established based on Article 4 of the Law on the Establishment and Administration of Special Economic Zones of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In line with this agreement, the organization that is responsible for each special economic zone must observe the tariffs and correct and create investment attraction and improve the condition of knowledge-based production centers. These organizations can apply up to 25% discounts on the approved tariffs for their knowledge-based production units.

The president of the center for knowledge-based companies and institutes affirmed: the new service tariffs are determined for organizations of special economic zones in Bojnord, Bushehr, Payam, West Islam Abad, New Arg, Lavan, Birjand, Dogharoon, and petrochemical, as approved by the cabinet.

The faculty member of technology studies research center added: according to the approval of the new service cost tariffs in 2016, the organizations of the special economic zones, such as New Arg, Shahid Rajaei Port, Imam Khomeini Port, Bushehr Port, Amir Abad Port, Noshahr Port, Bushehr, Dogharoon, Pars Energy, Kave, Petrochemical, Persian Gulf Shipbuilding, Lorestan, Payam, gulf mineral & metal industries, Sirjan, Sarakhs, Salafchegan, Lavan, Sahlan, Shiraz, Yazd, Zarandieh (Iranians), Lamerd, Parsian, and Salmas.

It is notable that the headings and fees of services are available upon proposal of the organizations responsible for the special economic zones and approval of the council of ministers.
