According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, deputy for management and resources development headquarter, stated on the opening ceremony of innovation and technology center of Sistan and Baluchestan: advancement and development of industries of handicrafts and medicinal plants is a suitable foundation to create occupation and wealth in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.

According to Daliri, development of these industries require academic research and establishment of research units specifically for these industries.

Daliri pointed out the establishment of this innovation and technology center, expressing: the capacity of knowledge-based activities will be formed in the University of Sistan and Baluchestan with the establishment of an innovation and technology center.

Deputy for management and resources development headquarter also affirmed: different activities are performed in technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan by knowledge-based companies, compared to other provinces, which is admirable.

Daliri asserted: by establishment of this innovation and technology unit, the infrastructure for new technologies will be created in this province, which will lead to the occupation of academic graduates mainly due to the fact that the infrastructure of this phenomenon is understanding and knowledge.

Moreover, deputy for management and resources development headquarter marked: knowledge-based companies of Sistan and Baluchestan have had significant developments in the government of prudent and hope. In this regard, it has been observed that knowledge-based companies of Sistan and Baluchestan have participated in all exhibitions of Tehran.

According to Daliri, the science and technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan is now of the top parks of the country.

Daliri also pointed out the capacities of industries of handicrafts and medical plants in this province. He stated: exploiting new technologies in Sistan and Baluchestan can lead to prosperity in agriculture section of this province. In addition, these technologies can be applied to eliminate the problem of water shortage.

Deputy for management and resources development headquarter mentioned: University of Sistan and Baluchestan struggled with the problem of water shortage in the past, which is now eliminated with the use of new technologies and cultivation change.

Daliri also stated: use of medicinal plants has been significantly welcomed in the world. The same capacity exists in Sistan and Baluchestan, which must be flourished using new technologies.
