Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: one our plans is unveiling six cancer drugs and raw materials for treatment of different types of cancer.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarters, expressed about achievements in the pharmaceutical area of the country, asserting: six new drugs and raw materials in the field of treating various types of cancer in the country are produced by domestic experts, which will be unveiled after the final stages of obtaining an approval license.

He added: these drugs have been developed by the efforts of domestic researchers, and the number of drugs produced in Iran is highly acceptable considering the existing sanctions against Iran.

According to Ghanei, one of the honors of the country is the field of technology, development, and enhancement of technologies for drug production, in a way that a large part of pharmaceutical needs of the country are supplied in the country.
