The representative of Iran was ranked fourth in the competition of Brain Bee held in Berlin, Germany.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the 20 round of Brain Bee global championship was held along with the conference of European Federation of Neurology in the presence of representatives from 25 countries of the world. The representative of Iran was ranked fourth at the end of the competition.

“Mahsa Arman” from school of Farzanegan of Mashhad gained the first rank in the national competition of Brain Bee. The global competition is held annually and along with holding one of the neuroscience congresses in a country of the world.

Seyed Kamal Kharazi, secretary of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, who together with a team of senior executives from the headquarters traveled to Berlin to attend the International Congress of Neurosciences of the European Union, regarded the Iran"s top rating in World Championship of Brain Bee the sign of significant growth in science of the country. He congratulated this scientific success to the representative of Iran and emphasized the preparedness of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter an important factor for extensive support of promotion and improvement of this science in the country.

According to this report, the brain bee competition is a wide event for elite students at the global level. This event will provide the necessary foundations and opportunities for promotion and development of fields related to cognitive sciences in the countries of the world.

As the custodian of the event, the neuroscience association of Iran holds the competition every year in two stages with the help of ministry of education and support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.  

The main goal of holding the Brain Bee competition in Iran, which is held with the all-around support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, is finding the top talents among students and illustrating an ideal education space in this field. In addition, the representatives of Iran were able to achieve the fourth and fifth ranks in the previous rounds of the competition.
