According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, stated about the role of biotechnology in development of economy of countries: given the important and valuable role of biotechnology in the modern world, we have moved toward this area along with other fields, including agriculture, laboratory sciences, economy and medicine.

He continued: support of knowledge-based companies is one of the effective methods to develop biotechnology in the country.

Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter also asserted: with regard to inadequate financial power of knowledge-based companies for risking in implementation of projects, the biotechnology development headquarter will support these companies with the help of the foundation.
