Basics of Brain Mapping Are Taught
“Education of basics of brain-mapping” is the title of theory and practical workshop, which will be started on February 21st 2019.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, promotion, empowerment, and development of the field of cognitive science and brain-mapping is one of the programs of the national brain-mapping laboratory. In this regard, the center has aimed to hold educational workshops, such as “education of basics of brain-mapping”, which will be held in the form of a theory and practical workshop during February 21st-22nd, 2019.
In this workshop, prominent professors will teach topics such as types of functional imaging of neurons, methods for regulating neuronal activity in humans, recording and analyzing brain data, brain anatomy, clinical application of brain mapping and various electrophysiological registrations of neurons.
At the end of the workshop, the participants will visit the national brain-mapping laboratory and were familiarized with the equipment of the laboratory. Enthusiasts of cognitive sciences, neurosciences, psychologists and therapists can participate in this workshop.
This research center is equipped with advanced and updated devices in the field of cognitive science and brain-mapping, providing researchers with the necessary services in these areas. Therefore, holding workshops to promote this area is a valuable step.
The national brain-mapping laboratory has been established with the aim of responding to a part of research and technology needs of the country and laying the foundation for imaging and brain stimulation for cognitive research and presenting knowledge-based services in cognitive sciences and technologies and brain-mapping with the support of the Vice-Presidency.
