“Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging” is the title of a national conference held by the national brain-mapping laboratory to witness an improvement in abilities and an increase in knowledge level of activists of the field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first national conference of “Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging” will be held by national brain-mapping laboratory. This event is a step toward the improvement of activities in this field. Holding the academy of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, artificial intelligence scientific workshops in neuroradiology, speech, and article poster publication are some parts of the national conference.

Holding the academy of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, which is an international event and is held under the supervision of European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII), mainly focuses on the basic and applicable concept of artificial intelligence in radiology and other medical imaging areas.

In addition, three practical workshops on artificial intelligence in neuroradiology using MATLAB, application of artificial intelligence without programming, and artificial intelligence in neuroradiology using Python will be held, where the theoretical foundations, step-by-step guidance for regulation of an algorithm in related environments will be held. Actual examples will be implemented until the last day of practices to gain experience in designing artificial intelligence networks. Presenting 20 articles for oral explanation and 15 articles for poster presentation are other programs of the event.

The exhibition booths will be provided to active companies in the informatics field, imaging and data processing in health field to showcase their achievements to the audience.

The first national conference of “Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging” will be held November 2^nd-5^th, 2019. With the goal of responding to a part of research and technology needs of the country in the field of creating imaging infrastructure for cognitive research and provision of knowledge-based services in the field of cognitive sciences and technologies and brain imaging, the national brain-mapping laboratory was established by the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
