Mohammad Javad Zarif, minister of foreign affairs of Iran, traveled to South Africa as the head of a high-rank delegation. During this travel, a group of people attended from knowledge-based companies to exchange technology and evaluate the development of export of knowledge-based products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Javad Zarif, minister of foreign affairs of Iran, traveled to South Africa as the head of a high-rank delegation. It is noteworthy that five knowledge-based companies accompanied this delegation to present their achievements and products during various meeting. In this regard, the companies were CinnaGen, active in the area of biotechnology medications, Greenbiotech, active in production of biological fertilizers, Nasr Pharmacy, active in the area of veterinary drugs, Tofiq Daru, active in production of human drugs, and Saadat Co., active in the area of medical equipment.

This presence could create the foundations for improvement of economy of Iran through the export of technological products to Africa. Today, one of the concerns of the most families is the occupation of their children, which can be eliminated by increasing the activities of these companies since talented and creative young work force is regarded as a major resource. In this travel, specialized programs were meeting and familiarization with the products of these companies and introducing the market of Iranian products, which can facilitate the pace of moving toward non-oil-based economy.
