According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the vaccine workgroup of the biotechnology development headquarter and according to the macro plan of the science, technology and innovation system of vaccination in the 2020 vision, this document follows the placement in the list of the top 10 countries that produce vaccines, achieving 3% of the global market of vaccine and establishment of a minimum of 60 private knowledge-based companies in the area of vaccines.

In addition, other prioritized activities in this area include the formation of two large companies with Iranian brands in the area of vaccination in the country, achieving international confirmations for all Iranian vaccines, establishment of five production headquarters with Iranian brand in other countries and compilation of an international and national reference book on vaccines.
