An agreement is signed on the development of business in the area of e-health
Along with cooperation of Fava Headquarter, e-health organization of Barekat and hospital of Uganda and in order to lay the foundation for presence of creative and knowledge-based companies and health businesses on information technology, a cooperation agreement was signed between the information and communication technologies development headquarter, the e-health organization of Barekat, and hospital of Uganda.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, along with the travel of a higher-level delegation of Iran and 70 knowledge-based companies to Uganda, after attending a joint meeting with knowledge-based companies of Uganda and ministers of health, agriculture and science and technology of this country, a cooperation agreement was signed on development of businesses in the area of e-health.
In this meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed for development of businesses in the area of e-health between Mahdi Faghihi, secretary of information, communication and cyberspace technologies development headquarter, Ethan Karima, head of Mbarara Regional Hospital of Uganda, and Sajad Marouji, CEO of Barekat e-health organization.
It is notable that the possibility of presence of creative and knowledge-based companies and health business based on information technology will be possible in Uganda based on the agreements.
It is worth mentioning that with regard to the health and medicine condition of Uganda and high cost of health services, the foundation will be laid for development of health service exports based on information technology in line with the agreements.
