According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Alireza Daliri, deputy for management and resources development headquarter, talked about the development of new investments in the meeting with the top investment and holding companies of the country, stating: organizing the activities of the venture capitals has been carried out by forming these centers and performing good actions to move the activities of the investment section toward new technologies and startups.
Deputy for management and resources development headquarter pointed out the positive perspective of Fara Bourse company of Iran toward new technologies, expressing: the current activities of this area have changed the environment from its traditional form, moving toward new businesses. Daliri also stated that the venture capitals of the country have a proper condition today, affirming: given the coordinated condition of this section, the vision of venture capitals can be established based on this view.
Deputy for management and resources development headquarter continued: since the business environment of the country moves toward new technologies in all areas, this path will definitely require a modern and specific system.
During the fourth meeting of Fara Bourse before the start of FinStars 2018 with the topic of “contemplation over investment companies and holdings”, Daliri pointed out that the actions performed in the area of Fintech in the capital market is one of the measures taken by Fara Bourse of Iran, which has made venture capitals coordinated and legal. In addition, significant activities have been performed and proper foundations have been established to follow up many investments. He also mentioned the importance of crowdfunding.
In another part of his speech, Daliri pointed out the attractiveness of development of FinTech area in the country, asserting: the necessary legal aspects of this area will be provided. However, some infrastructures are required to support this field.
At the end and after announcing the preparedness to create the infrastructures, holding of educational courses in all areas of Fintech in the next year with the cooperation of Luxembourg in Iran was announced.
