Activities of 450 Knowledge-based Companies in Aviation Industry; Sattari: Development of the aviation industry will be possible by culture-building.

In the meeting of the CEOs of airlines and aerospace knowledge-based companies, Sattari mentioned: the concept of development depends on culture building, not the development of hardware and software. We have to create the culture to achieve the development of hardware and software.

The meeting of CEOs of airlines and aerospace knowledge-based companies was held in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Touraj Dehghani Zanganeh, head of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran.
During the ceremony, Sattari pointed out the necessity of culture-building in the country for institutionalization of the concept of development, asserting: if we define culture correctly and put it all together, we can achieve the concept of development.

He continued: to this end, we need to believe the specialized human resources in the country and their knowledge ability. Using the power of large companies, such as MAPNA, is important for the development of the aviation industry. These companies have achieved unique technologies.

The president for the national elites foundation continued: innovation is the most important principle in scientific development, and these innovations are focused on the private sector, not the public sector. The development of public aviation in the country guarantees the future of the aviation industry. Good companies have been formed in this field.

According to the president of the national space and advanced transportation administration, the aviation field should lower its guard so that knowledge-based companies could develop this field with their activities.

The vice president for science and technology affairs continued: we use the capabilities of large and technological companies to develop the aviation industry. Companies with high innovations and knowledge capacity.

Sattari also marked: public aviation is a great playground that comes from the heart of the activities of large companies. This airspace leads to the development of small and light aircraft.

He affirmed: the construction of small and light aircraft is one of the events that take place in the heart of the development of public aviation. This event will eventually lead to the development of the country's aviation industry. The aviation economy must be formed and knowledge-based companies must tie their scientific and knowledge potential to this industry.

Sattari also stated: currently, there are 450 knowledge-based companies in the aviation field, and the Vice-Presidency is prepared to support the formation of new companies and present facilities and loans to active companies.

During the event, Touraj Dehghani Zanganeh, the head of the Civil Aviation Organization, expressed: culturalization to make the parts and equipment needed for the air began with the activity of Shahid Sattari in the Air Force and became culture.

He added: we must develop a center to use the domestic scientific abilities of the country to develop the aviation industry and reduce parallel working.  

Manouchehr Manteghi, the chairman of national space and advanced transportation administration, affirmed: a joint cooperation project has been defined between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and the Civil Aviation Organization to help meet the needs of the strategic industry of the country.

He continued: at present, the country's aviation industry faces 5 main challenges: supplying spare parts, not using internal capabilities to supply parts, meeting the needs of the MRO field, not using internal capabilities to meet the needs of this sector, and finally lack of knowledge of the aviation industry.

Manteghi continued: there are currently 47 MRO centers in the country, one for every six aircraft.

In this meeting, selected representatives of active companies in the field of aviation introduced their achievements, capabilities and products to assess the conditions for meeting the needs and priorities of the aviation industry.
