Achievement of Pardis technology park are promising

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Eshaq Jahangiri, the first vice president, pointed out the reports presented on the performance of Pardis technology park in 2016 during the meeting of the board of trustees of this park and regarded the measures taken by the park and its achievements promising and acceptable. The first vice president also emphasized the demand of researchers for increase of research budgets and importance of research area, reminding the necessity of elevating the budget and financial properties for the research section of the country.

In terms of the program for development of branches and non-localized members of Pardis technology park, he emphasized the importance of clear and accurate policy making and agenda for coordination of non-localized members of the park with related organizations and their interactions with the market and industry.

Chairman of the board of trustees of Pardis technology park also emphasized the establishment of innovation network in Tehran and demanded the holding of meetings with ministers of industry, mine and trade, research and technology and the vice president for science and technology affairs and legal deputy to evaluate the program for development of branches and non-localized members of Pardis technology park (innovation network of Tehran) and their interactions with relevant organizations.

The first vice president added: when non-localized members of Pardis technology park are turned into manufacturing units and factories, their interactions with the industry section and other related organizations must be determined, which requires clear policy making to determine the level of coordination of these units with each organization and center.

This meeting was also attended by Mohammad Shari’atmadari, minister of industry, mine and trade, and Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs. In addition, secretary of the board of trustees of Pardis technology park presented a report on the performance of park in 2016 and described the achievements of last year, such as synergy with universities, attraction and exchange of technical knowledge, qualitative and quantitative development of member companies, development of specialized services and exploitation of international cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, the program for development of branches and non-localized members of Pardis technology park (innovation center of Tehran) was discussed and evaluated. Moreover, the secretary of the board of trustees announced the special program of the innovation network of Tehran, according to which Pardis technology park will provide software commercialization services to knowledge-based companies. Al members of the board of trustees agreed with this plan, and it was decided to announce the details and mechanism of the program in a meeting with ministry of science, research and technology, legal deputy of the presidency, planning and budget organization and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

 

Regulations for membership of technology unites as non-localized centers, detailed budget of the years 2016 and 2017 of Pardis technology park and audit report and park financial statements of 2014, 2015 and 2016 were also evaluated and approved in the meeting.
