Abilities of specialists will help the production of Iranian products
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs quoted by the news headquarter of the second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran”, Mansour Gholami, minister of science, research and technology emphasized the use of potential of academics in improving the level of national production and design and construction of high-quality domestic products, stating: students and academics are the assets of the country, abilities and talents of whom can be used to solve problems in the society. These individuals can play a significant role in production of high-quality Iranian products using their knowledge and creativity. We just need to trust them and pave their way in this regard.
Gholami expressed that interactions and collaborations between production and industry section and scientific and academic centers must increase. He continued: use of the abilities of specialists can improve the quality of Iranian products and lead to increased demand for purchasing these products. This is the first priority on our agenda. Improvement of this field can lead to increased ability of Iranian products to compete with the products of other countries.
According to Gholami, the ministry of science has carried out various actions in this respect, including enhancing the section of research and development of production units to support domestic products. In addition, scientific measures have been initiated at the level of universities in this regard.
The minister of science, research and technology pointed out the creation of a sense of accountability in the society and necessity of creating belief among people regarding the necessities of using domestic products, expressing: support of Iranian products is a commitment for all people and in line with provision of independence and maintenance of national interests. If people knew how much purchasing Iranian products determines their future and destiny, they would more turn toward this area.
He also marked: however, there must be a close synergy with universities and various production industries of the country using new and updated scientific solutions to improve the quality of products, so that the products introduced to the market could compete with their foreign counterparts.
Gholami pointed out the holding of the national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran”, affirming: the culture of using Iranian products must be formed among people. In this respect, all of our powers must be used by interacting the media, producers, people, and the government to showcase our pride. Therefore, attention to culture building and support of this topic is of great importance.
The second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held this January with the support of the knowledge-based industry and sciences development headquarter and secretary of Parviz Karami with the slogan of “Iranian technology, Iranian business”. This event will be carried out with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for the cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of knowledge-based Iranian products and services, organization of excessive imports and valuation of high-quality Iranian products and services, and helping the branding of Iranian products. The event has the sections of literature, visual arts, audiovisual media, digital media, idea market and a student section. Registration deadline of the event is November 6th 2018.
