According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, biotechnology development headquarter announced in the call for the fourth biotechnology exhibition, which will be held September 18^th-19^th, 2017: the biotechnology development headquarter has aimed to hold “Iran Biotechnology Exhibition” every two years since 2010 to provide a suitable environment to introduce technology providers and demanders, facilitate the creation of relationship and cooperation between scientific, industrial and commercial parts related to biotechnology of the country, and create healthy competitiveness through familiarizing the society with biotechnology products and their application in everyday life.

In this exhibition, we will host knowledge-based and innovative companies and institutions, scientific associations, guild forums and specialized unions, universities, research centers, government and non-government research and technology centers related to agricultural biotechnology, medicine biotechnology, marine biotechnology and industrial and environmental biotechnology.

Some of the goals of this exhibition include attracting the cooperation of investors and other beneficiaries in the field of commercialization, creation of association between industry, university and elites of this field, facilitation and establishment of the commercialization process for technological and scientific achievements and knowledge-based products of the country, creation of the possibility of interaction between domestic and foreign agencies in the field of biotechnology (business-to-business) through strengthening the marketing and sell of products in long term and identification of activists of this field and collecting and updating the current information.

Iran Bio award will also be held simultaneously with Iran Biotechnology Exhibition held in august 2017 by biotechnology development headquarter and participation of activists of this field.
