According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Reza Asadifard, manager of the strategic technologies laboratory network, pointed out the necessity of covering fire-related incidences in member centers of the laboratory network, as well as failure of machineries, and occupational accountability of experts and managers of laboratories, expressing: a cooperation agreement is signed between the Vice-Presidency and Iran Insurance Company in order to benefit from the network of laboratories of strategic technologies and knowledgeable companies from the appropriate coverage.

He continued: according to this agreement, Iran Insurance Co. will provide special insurance packages to laboratories with special facilities and discounts.

Asadifard talked about the use of these services by member centers of the laboratory network, expressing: the member centers must first refer to the selective agencies of Iran Insurance Co. across the nation, list of which is provided for laboratories by the laboratory network. After receiving the necessary information from the insurance agencies regarding the desired type of insurance, they can send their introduction letter to the secretariat of the laboratory network through the laboratory cartable.

He added: after evaluation and confirmation of requests, an introduction letter will be sent from the brokerage of the laboratory network to the insurance agency, followed by issuance of insurance by the representative.

According to the manager of the strategic technologies laboratory network, the insurance services of the mentioned agreement are provided in the form of four insurance packages, including fire liability, individual and engineering failure machines (electronic and mechanical) insurances.
