According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a cooperation agreement was signed between information, communication and cyberspace development headquarter and information and communications technology (ICT) faculty of Iran to realize the macro policies of the government in the area of science and technology and knowledge-based economy of resistance.

This cooperation is signed to provide the foundations for recognition, selection and development of startups and project owners, so that by learning about the high-potential ready products, the goals of knowledge-based economy are realized.

In line with the implementation of this agreement, the scientific capacities of the Vice-Presidency and ICT faculty will be used to establish and support “the accelerator ICT faculty of Iran”.

Areas of Cooperation and Commitments of Employer

By signing this contract, the information, communication and cyberspace technologies development headquarter with be committed to technical support the establishment of an accelerator, take the necessary measures to facilitate the obtaining of required licenses for establishment of this center, taking the necessary measures to obtain the approval of the centers establishment in competent authorities, help the supply of required information resources for activities of the center in cooperation with related units, introduce active startups in the area of information, communication and cyberspace technologies and facilitate the conditions for obtaining knowledge-based approval and other required licenses for introduced startups.

Moreover, support of commercialization of successful projects and their introduction to beneficiaries and demanders, especially to executive centers, support of export and creating the market for commercialized products by startups under the support of the information center, introduction of activities of the accelerator to activists in the field of knowledge-based and providing counseling and technical and management guidance regarding related fields are some other commitments of employer mentioned in the agreement.

Areas of Cooperation and Commitments of the Executor

The ICT faculty of Iran is committed to establish the accelerator according to the latest standard, providing reports on progress made in the establishment stages every three months, providing a service package for startups according to successful domestic and foreign experiences and providing regular reports every three months on performance of the accelerator, commercialized products and successful projects and startups that successfully complete the accelerating course. In addition, regular holding of entrepreneurial events and presenting written reports on these events are the duty of the employer.
