A Memorandum of Understanding Is Signed between Iran Technical & Vocational Training Organization and the Innovation Ecosystem of the Country

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Iran Technical & Vocational Training Organization and various components of the innovation ecosystem, including accelerators, growth centers, and science and technology parks, and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs to deepen collaborations and synergy among technical & vocational center across the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Peyman Salehi, the deputy of innovation and technology commercialization, stated during the ceremony: given that in most countries of the world, the main focus is on training, skills development and scientific promotion of skills seekers, in Iran, extensive technical and vocational training centers should be considered as a main training part of the country.

Pointing out the details and various parts of the MoU developed in 10 pages, Salehi added: various support packages have been provided by the Vice-Presidency to support technology activists across the country. Therefore, such collaborations can lay the foundation for introducing technical and vocational centers to graduates and learners so that they could extend their innovative products and ideas.  

Facilities provided in the form of macro projects, especial support considered in the form of Iranian-made Lab Equipment Exhibition are two examples of the support provided by the Vice-Presidency, as explained by Salehi.

Skill-based Training

Ali Hashemi, the head of the organization for technical and vocational training, pointed out the developed countries’ emphasis on skill training instead of the multiplicity of training centers, expressing: several meetings have been held with the Vice-Presidency before signing the MoU, which is supposed to increase motivation for synergy and cooperation.

Hashemi asserted the importance of developing international relations based on skill training, expressing hope that the area will be developed with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency.

Abdolreza Majd Alddin, the director general of knowledge-indusry-market collaborating office, and Maryam Maloni, the head of the innovation new businesses office, attended the ceremony.
