According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a cooperation agreement is signed on the establishment of the energy technology and innovations development center between Kambiz Mahdizadeh Farsad, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, Esmaeil Ghaderifar, head of the strategic technologies development center, and Akbar Adibfar, head of the board of directors of the renewable energy association of Iran chamber of commerce, industries and mines. Establishment and development of the energy technology and innovations development center is the main goal of this agreement. Soon, we will witness the growth and organization of startups, accelerators and technological companies in the field of energy after the establishment of this center.

According to this agreement, the energy technologies development headquarter will be obligated to arrange the tasks of support of development and establishment of the energy technology and innovations development center in the form of financial supply, performing the necessary actions to accelerate the issuance of necessary licenses for establishment of the center, support of export and market creation for commercialized products by startups covered by the center, and support of commercialization of successful projects and their introducing to applicant beneficiaries, specifically the executive organizations. On the other hand, the renewable energies association of Iran chamber of commerce, industries and mines is obligated to perform tasks such as establishment, completion and equipping the center based on the finalized plans that were agreed by all parties, training professional human resources in the form of approved courses and through monitoring, financial supply of restoring and establishing the announced infrastructures, presenting seminars, specialized courses and short-term educational workshop, and attracting active companies, startups and teams in the area of renewable energies.

Signing this agreement and establishing the mentioned center is a step toward the development of energy field in the country, so that activists of the field could centralize their activities in the center. It should be noted that with regard to the development of science in the energy field and its linkage to the change of smart technologies from one hand and the high need of the country for advancement in the area of technologies of this field from other hand show the necessity of establishment of this center.
