A cooperation agreement is signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and organization of building engineering system of the country in the path of implementation of the program of production development and need for knowledge-based products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in the path of implementation of product development program and meeting knowledge-based needs, the article 43 of law for elimination of barriers to competitive production and improvement of national system of the country, a cooperation agreement is signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and organization of building engineering system of the country on July 11^th 2018.

Peyman Salehi, deputy of innovation and technology commercialization, introduced the goals of the agreement, which included the support of innovative and technological ideas in the field of building and accelerating the commercialization of innovations in this field, development of scientific, professional, expert and technical abilities of individuals with occupation license from organization of building engineering system to develop production, demand and export of knowledge-based products of this industry, especially in the areas of smart buildings and energy and support of the formation and improvement of abilities of knowledge-based companies in the area of construction.

He added: in order to operationalize the goals of the agreement, joint programs are planned, including the formation of the innovation center of organization of building engineering system, which is active with missions, such as management and cooperation in holding entrepreneurial events, creating the venture capitals unit with the cooperation of large private companies, providing facilities and a specialized network for basing the startup and new companies and technological companies.

Salehi continued: other joint programs include creating the system for presenting the signs of smart structure, green structure and sustainable structure, so that development of production of high-quality knowledge-based products and structures, which lead to increased demand for these products.

It is notable the 21^st meeting of the organization of engineering system of the country was held in the presence of Ali Larijani, head of the Islamic parliament, and Abbas Akhoundi, minister of road and urbanism in Tehran.
