650 dissertations volunteered to participate in Panase / More than 100 universities

The head of the Culture and knowledge-based Economy announced the presence of more than 650 dissertations in various fields and from 100 country universities in the national three-minute student dissertation festival "Panase".

It was last winter that the call for festivals and competitions for students was published. A competition to introduce and apply student dissertations entitled "Pana Se". In this competition, students who have defended their dissertation in one of the educational levels present it in a three-minute film.

The festival is organized by the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology and in cooperation with the Culture and Knowledge-Based Economy Headquarters in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology by the Support of Researchers and Technologists Fund.

Parviz Karami said about holding the event: "Panase" is a promoting and cultural event that informs the society about the importance of dissertations and scientific achievements, in which students express their scientific findings in simple language so that everyone is aware. We should consider holding the festival as another step to promote the knowledge-based economy in the society.

Regarding the achievements of the festival and the competition, he added: "Panase" seeks to make part of the research done by students available to the public. In this event, empowerment of young researchers to make the best use of research opportunities was also considered.

The head of the Communication and Information Center in the Vice-Presidency pointed out that the acquaintance of knowledge-based companies, organizations, institutions and the general public with the attractions of research activities and ongoing research events will take place by holding this event: So far, 650 students to attend The event has been registered and 150 of them will go to the next stage after evaluation, and finally 30 selected people will be selected and supported. Judgments were also made collectively by 1,400 judges. There were also no restrictions on the fields submitted, with fields such as engineering, basic sciences, humanities and medicine being the most sought after.

According to the report, the Panase National Festival is being held in three stages: virtual, indigenous and national. In the virtual stage, each participant records a maximum of three minutes of video related to their dissertation and uploads it to the event system. After that, the judges will be done and the chosen ones will go to the native stage. At this stage, the participants will be present in one of the 5 booms of Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tabriz and will present their dissertations to the judges. The winners will also go to the national stage and finally the final winners will be determined.
