According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited the innovation center of Mazandaran on his travel to this province on the occasion of the week of government, stating: Mazandaran province has achieved significant advancements with the use of domestic knowledge, technology and capacities of this province.
He also expressed: application of domestic abilities of this province for solving its problems is one of the priorities that has been seriously followed up by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs to improve agriculture.
Sattari pointed out that knowledge and technology council must penetrate in the subject of agriculture, affirming: given the fact that a major part of economy of this province is related to agriculture, especial attention must be paid to this area. In addition, necessary technologies must be exploited in the fishery area, which can be resolved by entering successful technological companies to this area.
He also emphasized: for instance, the distribution system for agricultural products can be improved by using the technological capacities of these startups, so that growth of agricultural products could be directly entered into the target market. Therefore, in addition to improving the provinces, technologies can lay the foundations for occupation and wealth creation.
Moreover, head of national elites foundation asserted: now is a good chance to appreciate the work of those who significantly focused on technological businesses. Today, innovation centers are recognized as the most interesting areas to be invested in. Therefore, investment of the private sector in this area can lead to abundant benefits.
According to this report, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the innovation center of Mazandaran and learned about technological achievements of 10 startups located at this center. These startups are active in various areas, including biotechnology, communication and information technology, cloud computing and virtual reality.
Inauguration of Some Construction and Technology Projects in Mazandaran Province
Traveling to Babol, Sattari inaugurated the emergency plan for water supply to Babol and Babolsar cities in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, governor of Mazandaran and provincial authorities. Realization of this project will create the foundations for meeting a part of need of Babol and Babolsar villages to fresh water.
During this travel, 63 agricultural projects were inaugurated in Simorgh town. Some of these projects include development of paddy fields, drainage, canal construction, water pumping stations and equipping and modernization of paddy fields. Realization of this project will lead to the creation of 370 jobs in agricultural and production projects for 12 thousand rural households. With a budget over 420 billion and three thousand and two hundred million IRR, these projects will create the foundations for elimination of some agricultural challenges of the province.
On the other hand, 12 electrifying projects of the province include the opening of four-wheel drive (230 and 63 kilowatts) at the capical of Mazandaran, which came into operation at the location of electricity distribution center of Sari in the presence of Sattari.
In this travel, which was carried out on the occasion of the week of government, the vice president for science and technology affairs was accompanied by Rabi Falah Jelodar, governor of Sari, Ali Vatani, deputy of technology development, and Esmail Ghaderifar, head of center for strategic technologies.
Week of government was held August 24th-31st, 2017 with the slogan of “hope and prudence for production and occupation”.
