22 new research projects in the field of agriculture were evaluated.
The workgroup of agriculture and natural resources of the Iran national science foundation has recently evaluated 22 research projects, which will soon enter the implementation process.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the workgroup of agriculture and natural resources of the foundation evaluated 22 newly judged research projects, 14 of which were confirmed to be sent to the specialized committee for the final assessment and confirmation. Some of the topics of these projects include soil sciences, agricultural entomology, plant pathology, irrigation, fisheries and the environment.
In addition, judging panels were considered for two out of 18 delivered projects in this meeting, and the remaining projects were not prioritized for support. This workgroup pays especial attention to research projects which encourage the production of agricultural products by relying on domestic talents. By approving necessary projects in various areas of agriculture and natural resources, this workgroup has aimed to take effective steps toward advancing goals and maximum productivity of water, soil and agricultural lands.
