According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the most important national startup event of tourism in south of Iran was held in Dolatabad Garden of the global city of Yazd for three days with the support of Payame-Noor University of Yazd and cooperation of soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter, directorate of cultural heritage of Yazd and the business chamber of this city with the topic of public tourism to learn about the alphabets of business.

In this convention, Abolfazl Sherafat, CEO of the Takta Business Academy, stated as the executive manager of the event: the tourism startup is an educational and experimental event, in which various groups and idea makers gather together to discuss their ideas and implement them after forming groups.

He continued: the aim of holding this startup is teaching the alphabet of business and introducing the areas of idea making and localizing business models and tourism industry opportunities, providing innovative ideas and implementation of ideas of young idea makers and exchange of information without an age limitation for the participants.

He also asserted: in this event, 150 individuals (idea makers and creative people) participated and presented about 60 ideas. After the selection of 15 top ideas, the participants formed 7-11-member groups for evaluation and analysis of the selected ideas. At the end, four ideas were selected as the best projects.

According to Sherafat, support of startups and domestic abilities plays an effective role in development of technology of tourism. Organizations such as growth centers, accelerators and venture capitals can support these startups and ideas.

He continued: the electronic support fund for research and development, Sandbad accelerator and Takta Business Academy support the startup teams in terms of supplying the equipment and meeting their needs.

On July 9^th 2017, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee recorded the historical city of Yazd in its world heritage list on the 41^st meeting in Kraków, Poland through census.
