100 top student teams of Noor Scientific Competitions will be introduced

The administrative secretary of the third round of Noor Student Competitions expressed: 100 top student teams of Noor Scientific Competitions will be introduced on the closing ceremony of the event.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Hazem Faripour, the administrative secretary of the third round of Noor Student Competitions, asserted: three rounds of Noor Student Competitions have been held and 100 top teams have been recognized in each round. This year, the top student teams will be introduced on the closing ceremony of the event.

He added: the closing ceremony of the competition will be held April 26th, 2019 and will be attended by more than five thousand students from various companies. It is notable that the ceremony will be held by Mustafa Science and Technology Fund.

According to Faripour, the closing ceremony of the third round of Noor Student Competition will be attended by more than five thousand students and exhibition of 1733 works from various countries of Iran, Tunisia, Iraq, Tanzania, Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan. In addition, authorities in science and education field will attend the event.

He also marked: the Mustafa Science and Technology Park, which was founded by Pardis Technology Park, has planned programs to improve the scientific level of Islamic countries and create a network of scientists of the Islamic world, thereby explaining science and technology in the form of public community discourse and creating joy and motivation in student and young researchers’ societies at the level of the Islamic world.

Faripour continued: the first round only included Iranian students. However, from the second round onward, the event is held at the international level and is attended by students from other countries. For instance, students from Iran, Tunisia, Iraq, Tanzania, Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan participated in this round of the event.

According to Faripour, students participating in the competition are required to deliver a one-minute documentary on their scientific activities. These movies are evaluated by referees and the winners will be announced on the closing ceremony.

In addition, each Noor Student Competition is held with the goal of appreciating one of the figures of the Islamic world.
