Selected works in the 23rd Razi festival are awarded
The selected works of the 23rd research Razi festival were awarded in the presence of Eshaq Jahangiri, the first vice president, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Seyed Hasan Ghazizadeh Hashemi, minister of health, treatment and medical education.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the top works of the 23rd research festival of Razi were announced. In this festival, eight scholars, two top researchers, one young scholar, three universities of medical sciences, one school of medicine, six research centers, three student committees and two scientific journals were announced as winners, which received awards from Jahangiri, Sattari, Ghazizadeh Hashemi and Reza Malekzadeh, deputy for research and technology. In addition, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter was announced as one of the winners of the festival.
According to this report, this festival has been held every year since 1996 according to Article 4 of Principle 3 of the Constitution of Iran based on enhancing the spirit of evaluations, initiative in line with the goals of the ministry of health and to commemorate the position and status of researchers and students of universities of medical sciences in honor of Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi, the prominent Iranian physician, chemist, pharmacist and philosopher, so that moving toward the promotion of position of Iran in production of science in various fields of medical sciences is assisted.
