Ruhollah Dehghani, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, appointed Meysam Farajollahi, who was previously the head of the strategic technology development center, as the " Acting Head of the Center for the Management of Macro and Progressive ".

In Dehghani's decree addressed to Farajollahi, it is stated: In view of the improvement of the organizational structure of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and considering the degrees of competence and experience, by virtue of this decree, I appoint you as the Acting Head of the Center for the Management of Macro and Progressive. Considering the high goals of this deputy and the necessity of planning and development in the promotion of the country's knowledge-based economy, special missions are considered for your excellency.

"Pursuing the implementation of feasibility studies and compiling technical and economic justification documents for macro projects and progressive projects", "Effective cooperation with organizational and extra-organizational stakeholders to create coordination and integration in the management and implementation processes of progressive projects", "Establishing a monitoring mechanism and continuous monitoring of Macro-projects of technology development and economic sector", "Clarification and intelligentization of control processes to achieve the maximum realization of predetermined goals and increase the agility of support", "Development of project management tools and a single window for monitoring and evaluation of projects and deputy programs for different management levels" and "Predicting the failure of projects and following up the missions assigned to different departments of the organization and other actors" are among these missions.
