Solutions Will Be Presented to Reduce Pollutions Emitted from Marine Diesel Engines

 

In line with holding the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress”, the pollutants emitted from marine diesel engines and their reduction strategies will be reviewed with the support of marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fourth national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” will be held to learn more about marine industries and their challenges, achievements and needs. Along with this festival, specialized workshops and seminars will be held in the presence of industry owners and experts as a part of the event.

In this regard, “evaluation of the pollutants emitted from marine diesel engines and their reduction strategies” is the title of the first lecture in the festival, which will be held by the representatives of Imam Khomeini University of Qazvin. 

This lecture will be held on October 23rd 2018 by the efforts of Iranian ranking institute and marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter in the Persian Gulf of the holy defense museum.

The fourth round of the national festival of “Sea, the Path of Progress” will be held October 23rd-25th, 2018 in the Holy Defense Museum with sections of “student short films and photographs”, ROVs competition, RSVs competition, national marine idea-making competition, marine technological projects and achievements, marine student festival, marine technological achievement exhibition, marine startup demo event, and port automation entrepreneurial event. It is worth noting that the event will be held by the efforts of the marine knowledge-based economy and culture-building development headquarter.
