With the support of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter;

The second symposium on stem cells, tissue engineering and heart medical reform will be held.

According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter, along with Golestan University of Medical Sciences (Ischemic Disorders Research Center) and Tehran Heart Center at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, has attempted to organize the second symposium on stem cells, tissue engineering and heart medical reform on January 26th in Golestan, Iran with the aim of advancing the goals of the relevant headquarter so that applied research in the field of regenerative medicine and reproduction in cardiovascular diseases could increase in the future.

Amir Ali Hamidieh, president of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs, pointed out that the most recent global and national scientific challenges in the field of stem cells and heart medical reform will be discussed in this symposium, expressing: the most recent scientific challenges of Iran and the world in the area of stem cells and heart medical reform will be presented by the most prominent researchers and faculty members of universities and research centers across the country.

Hamidieh also affirmed: one of the most important goals of this symposium the maximum participation of centers of different cities and creation, development and improvement of necessary foundations to have self-reliance and earn scientific and technological authority in this field of science.

 

It is noteworthy that this symposium was held last year, suggested and supported by cardiovascular workgroup of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter in Golestan province for the first time in Iran University of Medical Sciences.
