The Third Round of the National Brain and Computer Interface Competition Will Be Held

The national brain mapping laboratory will hold the third round of the national brain and computer interface competition that will focus on the use of brain signals in the rehabilitation area.

Registration for the event started on February 28th, 2020 and those selected for the in-person stage will start the competition in the beginning of June. The purpose of this event is to develop the technology of brain-computer relationships in the country. This event is held in two stages. The first course focused on brain signal processing (EEG) and the second course focused on the use of brain signals (EEG).

The brain-computer interface is a technological tool for communicating between the brain and the external object, and it converts brain activity into signals. By processing these signals, the researchers obtain useful information that can be used to treat disease and disorders in individuals.

According to the report, The National Brain Mapping Laboratory has been set up with the support of the Vice President for Science and Technology with the aim of meeting some of the country"s research and technology needs in the field of imaging and brain stimulation infrastructure for cognitive research and providing services to students in the field of cognitive science and technology and brain mapping.
