The first national festival of free flight of Iran was held by the efforts of the national space and advanced transportation administration, hosted by Islamic Azad University of Shahr Rey

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the festival was started since two years ago by educating professors and training students in various areas of the country, able to introduce top people to the final and national stage of the national festival of free flight of Iran by holding selective stages in provinces.

The festival was attended by 70 people from Tehran, Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Mazandaran and Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari provinces and each participant set a record in three stages.

Recognition of Talent of Students in the Aerospace Field

On this ceremony, Sajad Rasti, secretary of the national festival of free flight of Iran (JAMPA), stated: the festival aims to introduce students and motivate them to continue their studies in aerospace and aviation.

He added: other goals of the festival include discovering and enhancing students" talent, integrating practical, theoretical and scientific work, promoting and expanding aviation sport, providing ideas and supporting the development of aviation technology related products.

Ali Shahabi, head of the club of researchers and elites in Islamic Azad University of Shahr Rey, expressed: this academic unit is selected as the pole of transportation and communication networks of Islamic Azad University. In addition, all attempts will be made to recognize the challenges of the field and develop educational, administrative and transport policy developments.
