Flourishing of the industrial capacity of Arak depends on innovation

 

The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: innovation of startups and knowledge-based companies must be injected to large industries, which are required to join the innovation current if desired to enter the path of development.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, emphasized the injection of innovation of knowledge-based companies to industries during the administrative council meeting of Markazi Province, which was held in the presence of managers of the Vice-Presidency and authorities of Markazi Province, expressing: this province has a potential capacity in large industries. However, these industries must use the innovation of knowledge-based companies to be improved.

The vice president for science and technology affairs continued: one of the natures of startups is using innovative abilities and investment of the private sector. Therefore, financial support of these businesses is not like giving loans, and the proper foundation must be laid to persuade the private sector to invest in startups and knowledge-based businesses.

He regarded oil-based economy as the promotor of the inaccurate culture of reliance on underground resources and lack of attention to human resources.

Necessity of Creating a Suitable Environment for Startups Knowledge-based Companies

President of the national elites foundation regarded the formation of a proper business environment for creative businesses of educated youth as a crucial necessity for flourishing of knowledge-based economy.

The vice president for science and technology affairs emphasized the necessity of changing the culture that causes barriers to the businesses, affirming: in resource-based economy, companies can be easily go out of business and obstacles are created for businesses. However, this culture must be corrected and we need to come to the realization that the elimination of domestic businesses is a huge betrayal to the country.

Sattari pointed out the start of process for correcting economic cultures, claiming: fortunately, the culture of use and support of startups, especially in the area of services, has been turned into a process and we witness the presentation of services and new abilities by startups every day. Due to their publicity and compatibility with the current needs of the society members, we have witnessed that these startups are increasingly welcomed by the people.

Key Role of Journalists in Development of Culture of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Head of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building development headquarter also congratulated the day of journalists to the media activists, mentioning: the most important mission of the media in development of knowledge-based economy is culture building for entrepreneurship ecosystem and creating a trend of support for young entrepreneurs.

Emphasis on Flourishing of Knowledge-based Economy in Meeting with Representative of Vali Faghih

During his travel to Arak, the vice president for science and technology affairs met with Hojatoleslam Ghorbanali Darri Najafabadi, representative of Vali Faghih in Markazi Province and Friday Imam of Arak.

Sattari pointed out the valuable support of representative of Vali Faghih in Markazi province from the creation of ecosystem of entrepreneurship and correction of oil-based economy and flourishing of culture of economy of resistance, declaring: the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs is ready to develop knowledge-based economy and mainstreaming for support of entrepreneurs in Markazi province. In addition, the companies of this province have a suitable capacity and preparedness to be turned into innovative and knowledge-based industries.
