Efforts to Achieve a Mutual Language in Marine Greenhouses

 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter, held the second specialized meeting on perspective of use of marine greenhouses in water and soil research institute in line with the third national conference of water management in farms. The main goal of this event was achieving a mutual understanding and definition of marine greenhouses and determining a mechanism for development of required technologies of the country.

This meeting was attended by Ali Asghar Alamolhoda, secretary of the water workgroup of the water, drought, erosion and environment development headquarter, Jahangir Porhemat, member of executive council of the headquarter, Hossein Dehghani Sanij, member of the workgroup, members of the core of development of marine greenhouse technology, some specialists and some active private companies in this field.

Jahangir Porhemat, member of executive council of the headquarter, explained about the goals of development of marine greenhouses in the country, expressing: production, development and improvement of cost-effective technology, development of multifunctional technology, development of technology required in the optimization of water and energy consumption, production costs, and improvement of methods and technologies to reduce environmental complications.

Ali Asghar Alamolhoda marked: use of marine greenhouse technologies is very limited and at its primary stage. It is favorable to collect information on technical issues to draw a bright road map to develop technologies required for the development and commercialization of marine greenhouses.
