149 educational workshops have been held during this year with the support of the national science foundation in order to promote science and technology. In total, 5596 individuals attended these workshops.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the strategies for development is information exchange by scientists and researchers and providing the results of research achievements. In this regard, conducting educational workshops and scientific conferences could have a significant impact. In fact, many conferences and scientific seminar are held over one year so that researchers are able to exchange information and update their knowledge.
In this regard, the national science foundation supported the holding of specialized conferences and scientific workshops this year, similar to previous years, as a scientific and technological method to build culture and promote new knowledge and technology, experience and research findings, which have been emphasized by researchers and scientists over the years.
Therefore, from 223 requests for support, 61 conferences have been conducted by the foundation and necessary supports have been provided in this regard. Moreover, 149 educational workshops were held this year with the support of the foundation. In total, 5596 individuals participated in these workshops and 14272 hours of education have been provided for enthusiasts in this regard. In addition, a total of 23 exhibitions were held this year.
