A 27% decrease in the number of Iranian students in Universities of the United States

According to the report by the emigration office of the US, the number of applications of Iranian students for universities of the united states has decreased by 27%.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the report presented by the emigration of office of the United States has presented that the number of applicants from Iran has decreased from three thousand and 220 in 2015 to two thousand and 650 in 2016.

In addition, these requests have decreased to 2200 in 2017, which shows a significant decrease. Therefore, there has been a decrease in the number of applicants of the universities of the united states from Iran during 2017-2018.

According to this report, this decrease in the number of applicants is not just related to Iran. In fact, applicants from the countries of the United Nations of Europe, Saudi Arabia, Japan and other countries have decreased by 13%, 6%, 6%, and 4%, respectively.
