Publication of book of global experiences of tourism and creative industries startups

Secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter announced the publication of book of “evaluation of global experiences of startups” to assess the global experiences of these companies in the field of tourism using creative industries.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, pointed out the publication of the 10th volume of book of “evaluation of global experiences of startups” in the field of tourism using creative industries by the technological knowledge-based publications, expressing: as a new generation of tourism and after mass tourism and cultural tourism, creative tourism is the forerunner and new pioneer in the field of tourism. 

With the slogan of “less museums, more fields”, creative tourism focuses on the experimental activities and deeper contemplation on actual cultural life of cities. Therefore, in the third generation of tourism, a tourist behaves like a citizen. In addition, the creative tourism is defined based on the concept of creative industries, which shows us the importance of using creativity and innovation in knowledge-based economy.

Karami continued: one part of the book is dedicated to the chain of activity of startup companies in the field of tourism. While the main topic of this report is startups and creative industries, the major emphasis is on startups that target specific markets.

The member of the board of experts on global startups pointed out that challenges and key opportunities of industry of tourism are covered in this report. In this regard, he added: moreover, essential issues and solutions in the tourism industry are evaluated in another part of the book. Providing information on various types of tourism and destinations of tourists, marketing and sales of various tours and travel guides are among the other topics mentioned in this book.

According to Karami, nine volumes of this book have been published in various business fields by the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter. This has been carried out considering the development of the ecosystem for new, knowledge-based and startup companies, which is one of the major missions of the Vice-Presidency. Publication of this book and recognition of challenges of activists in various fields of the world can help the formation and more dynamic growth of the areas in the country.
